Modern Dashboard Query

Recently came across a Dashboard, where there is filter feature with check box features, placed left and right was wondering if anyone has tried this, if done what could be the possible ways to implement this sort of Dashboard.

We create unique dashboards for teams (Server, Network, Application) The filters then work for them to set views on what they want to see or quickly see where the problem nodes are.

there is an option found under Dashboard Filter Configuration, but not sure how to create one, tried using global filter but there was no changes observed. Not sure if am following proper steps or if i am missing something.
