Updating team members on website status can be a tedious and time-consuming task. You are constantly dealing with pings, emails, and messages asking if a website is down. Reviewing data and communicating it clearly to your team can consume your valuable time.
The new answer to “Is the website down?” is a live link where your team can view website status details without logging into SolarWinds® Observability SaaS. Not only is this link a great option for visibility across your team, but it can also be shared with customers. This instant transparency allows everyone to be on the same page about the current status of your entities without needing to interpret complex dashboards.
An Overview of the Public Status Page
The Public Status Page is a dedicated live URL providing up-to-date website status information. Designed as a shareable link, it can be sent directly to your team or stakeholders. Instead of relying on a static report, this live link offers a real-time view of the status of your monitored websites. This allows your team to quickly observe and monitor your critical web assets independently.
What’s Included on the Public Status Page?
When anyone with the shared link visits the Public Status Page, they’ll see a concise overview of each website’s health. Here’s an example of the Public Status Page:
This page has a list of monitored websites with the status of each site over the past seven days. The status legend at the bottom makes it easy to understand what is happening across each site. Visitors to the Public Status Page can expand a web page to drill into the average response time for each day.
Instead of copying a dashboard image or downloading a static report, share the Public Status Page live link with your team. To set up your Public Status Page, log in to SolarWinds Observability SaaS and click on the Public Status Page under Digital Experience.
