Solarwinds user access- shared instance

For organizations that share Solarwinds with multiple teams, what are you doing to lock down access to only their devices within NPM and modules? Are you able to lock down the users to only be able to access nodes on their APE or is there another way?

I know dashboards can be created with views that show only their devices but how do you prevent that user from having controls/views of all?

Custom properties and account limitations.

Create a "Team" custom property and set it appropriately on each node, then limit each account/group using that custom property/value as appropriate.

Custom Properties and LDAP access restrict AD Groups to specific Custom Property location / group / or type etc.. May have to create allot of AD Groups to allow shared access for specific users.
