2930m stacking not working even with the update to 2025.4 update

Hello there I updated my works SW to 2025.4 as besides Dark mode (finally) the update also promised Aruba stacking.

Since the update the Aruba CX switches have shown the stacking info which is great but the Aruba 2930m still does not show stacking I have added Aruba and HP pollers to a test one to no avail anyone have success or tried anything

Hi,

Its more a question for NPM section (monitoring)

For Aruba 2930M Stack, we are build a custom poller based on OID [hpStackTopology] 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.69.1.1.4, if the output is not egal to 0 [not in stack] and not egal to 2 [ring topoly] then alert. That will check the stack intégrity.

Be carefull, you will need another check to see if a member reboot in the stack (depend on the pooling time you have define). A 2930 take about less than 3 min to boot, so if your polling is higher than this delay, potentialy you will not see it.

For me best way for a member reboot is a SNMP trap
