MIB msi file will not install

I just upgraded to 2025.4.0 and it let me know my MIB database was out of date. I downloaded the new mibV2.msi file on the server and launched it. It looked like the install stopped at " Registering ….." and then rolled the installer back and quit.

Any ideas on this?

I have found that after this attempt, I can't use the Universal Device Poller to create pollers.

I had to run the command prompt as administrator with all the processes off to get the MIBs file installed.

msiexec /i "C:\programdata\Solarwinds\Installers\MIBsv2.msi"

Note the lowercase "s" in the MIBsv2.msi. The code online shows it as upper case in the above command.
