Announcing Network Topology Mapper 2.4.2 is Now Generally Available

We would like to announce the general availability of Network Topology Mapper version 2.4.2.
This service release contains following improvements

• Installer file format changed - the installation file is now available as an EXE file.
• Updated Newtonsoft.Json library.
• Fixed issues
  • When you define network scan using a subnet, nodes are discovered without issues and topology polling is saved correctly.
  • You can now change custom icons for objects on maps.

Before you upgrade
Direct upgrades to NTM 2.4.2 are only supported from NTM 2.4. If you are upgrading from a version earlier than NTM 2.4., upgrade to NTM 2.4 first, and then upgrade to NTM 2.4.2.
Download Network Topology Mapper 2.4.2 now from your customer portal.

HI. I couldn't this in the documentation but is it possible to add one single node to a map without it re-doing all the nodes that are already on the map? I found that when I add in an extra subnet and scan again, all the nodes loose the changes I made to them.

Other question I have, if a node was discovered as ICMP only, how can I change it to SNMP without doing a whole rescan? As currently doing a rescan causes my map to use all the changes I'd made to it. Thanks.
