Always room for improvement but Observability On Prem, splunk, OnTap, Tenable.sc, MECM, RH Satellite, etc. do the job pretty well.
There is another problem - you can have lots of tools, but they belong to someone else. So the same or different tools get purchased multiple times for different teams. Put another way, you have tools but you cannot use them.
I want to say that I have leveraged the best of the best: SolarWinds! I have complimented with environmental sensors, NetApp Active IQ, and that about sums up my monitoring... bout every SW tool, but like I said, the best of the best!
