Both of these are about the pride of man. In each, we thought we knew best. In the first, we recreated a paradise and populated it with the flora and fauna of years past, which rose up and attempted to remove humans from the equation. In the second, we strove for perfection and automated everything, removing the need for humanity. In each, the end goal was the same: removal of the human species.
This is a very, very, very tough choice.
I may have to go with the old faithful test: if I was flipping channels and came across one or the other, which one would I continue to watch?
This battle doesn't appear to be showing up on the main page. I had to click on a random battle and then click on Brackets at the top to find it.,
It's there, just underneath the logo at the bottom...
The background colors on this one aren't helping us, but we really needed to get that "California" vibe - even if many of these movies shot in the UK.
Oh ok sorry I guess I was expecting it in the middle of the screen.
And cover our animated logo? NEVER!
The "its 3am and which one would you watch" test is failing. I would watch whichever one I found first.
As a single movie I have to go Jurassic Park. It has an ending that does not require you to watch the next one to get the full story. If I see the Matrix it requires the next few movies to get the full story. Maybe we need a bracket for series of movies?
Could you come up with 33? That's always been the challenge of the Bracket Battle - finding enough contenders.
kind of surprised Sneakers wasn't on the list. It would have beat out a number of these, probably not the Matrix, but definitely Jurassic Park.
I realised what was missing for me amongst all this techy nostalgia - Warriors of the Net - a 1999 classic, and still good after all these years :-)
Sneakers was on the list. It was beaten in the first round... by Live Free or Die Hard. I couldn't believe it. Sneakers is so much better than that.
Love both movies was a tough choice lol
Still can't believe War Games got beat by Jurassic Park!
