The Terminator happened to be on my screen this weekend. The special effects are very dated and the editing is awful. Subtle, yet solid, performances by Bill Paxton, Paul Winfield, Lance Henriksen, and Earl Boen, help make this movie a classic and catapult this movie franchise.
Same!
Terminator is a true CLASSIC! It is one of my go to SCI FI movies. However... I Gotta go with Matrix on this matchup.
I thought Blade Runner would beat The Matrix, which makes this matchup a tough vote for me. Sorry Neo, Arnie is The One.
Let's show some love for Bill Paxton.
Neo would win....
Hot take - Terminator is a horror movie with sci-fi elements, and Terminator 2 is an action movie with sci-fi elements. This distinction has no bearing whatsoever on the fact that they are two of my favorite movies of all time, and Terminator has my vote in this matchup!
Not sure if the Terminator is an action, SCI FI, horror movie or what but I still think it is one of the best two hour long chase seens there is. I just have to go with The Terminator.
Will always be back...
