I have so many feels about this movie. One the one hand, it pleases me that robots can find love. On the other hand, it pretty much sums up what I think an actual global dystopia would look like.

Positioned as a children's movie, it raises several interesting (some classic) sci-fi topics:

If WALL-E has been self-healing for years - and has swapped out so many of his parts - is he even WALL-E anymore?
Would humanity rather be comfortable and ignorant or uncomfortable and knowing?
What would a pizza plant even look like?

Ship of Theseus but a robot. It's a great movie, but I feel the same way about it somehow being too accurate to what I think a dystopia would actually look like for us.
