Digital Transformation in business and increased work-from-home policies due to the global COVID-19 pandemic have surfaced two holes in current device-centric network monitoring: (1) insufficient visibility, therefore inability to scale for modern application workloads running in hybrid cloud environments; and (2) extending visibility to the edge.
To correlate network availability and performance with application health, network operations professionals must rely on analytics and AIOps to classify and prioritize network data. This shift of network monitoring to data and analytics commoditizes the collection mechanisms themselves and pushes tool differentiation toward optimizing collection and storage, accelerating insights, and automating problem resolution.
This session will examine the trends and discuss the roadmap for network professionals to map their capability maturity journey from the datacenter to the cloud.
