What a blast we had at the SolarWinds User Group (SWUG) in Charlotte, North Carolina! I'm still buzzing from all the energy, excitement, and enthusiasm that filled the room. It was great to meet so many of you, learn from your experiences, and share some tips and tricks on how to get the most out of SolarWinds products.
I want to thank all the attendees for making this event a success. You brought your curiosity, your questions, and your feedback, and we appreciate it. You also brought your sense of humor, which made the sessions livelier and more fun. I hope you enjoyed lightning and karaoke sessions. I know I enjoyed them, even when I stumbled.
I also want to thank all the presenters for delivering informative and engaging presentations. You shared your knowledge, your best practices, and your insights on how to optimize performance, security, and availability across your IT environments. You also shared some of the challenges you faced, the solutions you implemented, and the results you achieved. You inspired us with your stories and showed us what's possible with SolarWinds. Thanks again for reminding me why I
this community so much. Big thanks to Arun Annavarapu (@aannavar), Brian Radovich (@bmrad), Carley Cousineau (@ccousineau), Cheryl Nomanson (@cheryl1), Chrystal Taylor (@ChrystalT), David Russell (@David.Russell.SE), Megha Ayyagari (@ahgem19), Pavel Hardak (@pavel.hardak), and Steven Wright (@Steve_Wright). Give them a round of applause!
And last but not least, I want to thank all the staff who worked hard to make this event happen. You took care of every detail, from registration to making sure the attendees were refreshed on a regular basis. You ensured that everything ran smoothly and that everyone had a good time. You are the unsung heroes of SWUG! Big props to your Community Manager, Kristen Piña Flores (@kpina) and Candice Ramirez from our Events Team!
New for this SolarWinds User Group, we added three new types of sessions: lightning topics, karaoke sessions, and open spaces. We always like to try at least one thing new at each SWUG, but this time we rolled the dice and added three! In my opinion, this was a great way to reinvigorate attendees. I loved the conversations, laughed with everyone during karaoke, and stumbled along with other Solarians during the lightning topics.
Aside from that, we took some fun photos. One of those photos felt so much like an old-fashioned oil painting that I couldn't resist a little edit. I feel like all it needs is an antique, gilded frame and it would look fantastic in any library or gastropub. I'm not a graphic designer and have had my artistic opinion questioned by others. It may not be "art," but I like it.

I hope you all enjoyed SWUG as much as I did. I learned a lot, I had fun, and I made some new friends. I'm looking forward to seeing you all in 2024!
If you attended SWUG, be sure to complete the end of event survey. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience for everyone.
Thank you again for being part of SWUG. If you attended, share your experiences, reply with a picture or two, tell us what you enjoyed the most about this SWUG, and let us know where we should go next year. This program may be run by SolarWinds, but it's powered by THWACKsters!
Until next time all, this is @KMSigma.SWI signing off.
