Is it even a remote possibility for anyone in IT to not use observability (task manager, uptime, top, log file grepping or tailing) or service management (handling and troubleshooting incidents, taking and following up on support calls, etc.)?

Saying "I'm familiar with them but don't use them" is like saying "I am familiar with a steering wheel, I just don't use it" - while getting on I-5 in an 18-wheeler... No?
