Ask anyone who’s been to a SWUG and they’ll tell you that unlike some other tech events (who shall remain nameless), this isn’t just a marketing ploy – this is true education on the solutions you are using today.
Aside from networking with me, which is overrated IMHO, you get to interact with Head Geeks™, SolarWinds executives, Product Managers, and (possibly most importantly), the other attendees. There’s no substitution for real-world experience when it comes to information technology professionals. I may have directly never worked with your IndeoNet 1137-B Router, but there’s a chance that another attendee has.
