May the Fourth be with you! Happy Star Wars Day!
May means the end of the school year for many of us in the U.S. with kids and many of those in university. I’m certainly looking forward to more quality time with my 13-year-old—when I can peel him (and myself) away from video games, though that’s not likely in early May with the long-awaited The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom coming out. In other news, we had a great time seeing some of you at SWUG™ London and the RSA Conference in April, and we’re looking forward to another opportunity to connect with you in the coming month at the Twin Cities SWUG.
What Might You Have Missed in April?
What’s Planned for May?
As always, you can look forward to TechPod™ featuring one or more of us at any time.
Thomas LaRock regularly cohosts the Raw Data Podcast, where they bring in industry pros to discuss top-of-mind topics.
Thomas LaRock will be speaking May 2 on Performance Tuning SQL Server Using Wait Statistics.
You’ll find Chrystal Taylor and Thomas LaRock at SWUG in the Twin Cities, MN, May 10 – 11. Stop by for a chat or a quick hello if you're attending this two-day learning event.
May 25 is Geek Pride Day, and we hope you’ll join us in celebration! I’ll probably celebrate by playing more Tears of the Kingdom, but let us know how you’ll let your geek flag fly.
