Announcing SolarWinds Dameware 12.2.4 is Generally Available!

We would like to announce the general availability of Dameware version 12.2.4. This release contains following security improvements

Security improvements and 3rd party libraries updates
Removal of MS SQL Compact dependency
Dameware Server tooling upgrade

SolarWinds strongly recommends that upgrades be performed using the same admin account from the previous installation.
You may need to perform an upgrade to Dameware 12.2.4 using elevated privileges (as administrator). See the Limitations section in the Back up Dameware Mini Remote Control settings and hosts during upgrade to versions 12.2.2 or later for more details.

Dameware 12.2.4 is not compatible with agent versions earlier than Dameware 12.2. Agents must be removed and version 12.2.4 installed again through the application or re-installed via the agent installer.
