I think I would consider Virtualization Manager as a good option
Does observability have one?

I’m under mixed opinion on the survey question. Instead of focusing on new exams, maybe SolarWinds might want to tighten up studying programs for their current tests first. I believe they are in the process of that now, but there seems to be disconnects between training and testing material.
I’m a horrible test taker, yet I have Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, Nortel, Avaya, LINUX, BICSI, ETA, and various legacy system certifications (some/many expired). I’m a hands on type of guy and do best on physical demonstration type tests. All the other certifications I took had one thing in common (except for maybe the LINUX stuff). It’s that you could easily find tested items/questions in company produced/company backed study guides.
From the CCNP Service Provider (older test), it was easy to find answers to questions I missed on the exam. I don’t remember the question 100% but I remember the topic and jist of what threw me off. For all those exams, it was easy to look at the companies study outline, study guide, and other related material and determine information I screwed up was in “Section X, Sub-item X, and Paragraph/Pages X”. For those certifications, it is easy to see what you missed and find the right place to look to get it right next test.
It’s not like that with SolarWinds exams. An example: On the NPM test, I got 0 of 3 in the “Capacity Management” section of the test. The test results page says “work on Section 2.6.1 for Capacity Management”. SolarWinds NPM study guide has no 2.6.1 section. In the study guide, “Objective 1.1” covers “Capacity Management” yet, the web link leads to only 6 pages of information. The link covered Forecasting and Usage Trends. Problem is, I didn’t have 3 questions on the test from those six pages of information. I had only 1 that related to those 6 pages of data. What material was used for the other two “Capacity Management” questions?
Maybe a more structured study guide and better interaction between instructors and test writers should occur. Doing that, you might have more people taking tests.
As for one adding a new cert, I think SRM would be a good option.
My initial instinct was “a Virtual Manager (VMAN) test might be best” But then, can that topic cover 75 questions? I don’t think so. Additionally, SolarWinds tests are vender neutral tests. Would VMAN cover a lot of “Microsoft” or vendor specific type stuff? I don’t know enough about VMAN. I know what we run on VMAN here in real life. It seems like there would be quite a few vendor specific type questions from what I see. Anyone have any thoughts?

I think it's time for tools to have SCP.

Before adding new certs, actual ones should be fixed It would provide better value for them, and give more shine to the flare
