Flexible licensing. You can use the new DBSH (Database Self-Hosted, supports all DBMS targets) and DBSHDS (for Azure SQL DB) licenses on either DPA or SQL Sentry. This provides the flexibility to choose which product you want to use without trading out licenses.
Better insight into the health of your database estate. In addition to an overall health score, you now see health for individual targets, as well as health at the site and group levels. SQL Sentry also shows a trend of health scores over time.
Top SQL now provides wait analytics for completed queries. That is, you now see a breakdown of wait events for a given query over a chosen time frame.
SQL Sentry’s Portal provides visibility into your AlwaysOn environment.
Enhancing dashboarding capabilities, the Custom Templates feature allows users to design and save reusable dashboard configurations that can be applied across multiple monitored targets.
Integrations with ServiceNow and PagerDuty for alert notifications have been simplified via SQL Sentry’s Platform Connect.
Audit logging of Portal access.
