Let’s get this out of the way right up front: I know how weird it may sound for someone from SolarWinds to talk about security. It’s almost like I was back in 3rd grade and asked the teacher for a sheet of paper (“Can you give a sheet?”) and the entire class lost their ever-loving 9-year-old minds.
“LEON SAID THE S-WORD! LEON SAID THE S-WORD!”
So here I am, 44 years later, saying a different S-word: “Security.”
Regardless of events from December 2020; regardless of the news cycle; and regardless of the propensity of folks across the internet to draw connections and conclusions despite a paucity of data; regardless of all that, my colleague Kevin Sparenberg (@KMSigma.SWI) and I are nevertheless tech practitioners with decades of experience each.
