LDAP lookup and AD group integration with solarwindos storage manager

Hi

 

We are looking to utilize AD groups with Storage Manager so that we do not need to create users in Storage Profiler every time. Currently we need to manually create user accounts to add anyone to Storage Manager, what would be great is if we could provide access to Storage Manager based on user account membership to an AD group?

 

Any ideas, how I can do this??

Hi Sam,

You can use LDAP user authentication. It can be found in: Settings->Server Setup: User Authentication.
After you configure it users from domain could log in to STM and account for them is automatically created – with user role.
