Use the mission’s resources to complete the tasks and answer the questions for a chance to win!

Correctly answer each question during the week and you'll be entered for a chance to win the weekly prize.

Correctly answer all 10 questions over the course of the month and you'll be entered for a chance to win the grand prize.

150 points are being awarded for each correctly answered question. There are 10 questions, which means you can earn a maximum of 1,500 points for this mission.

Find your coolest application/server map! Use Orion maps to either build/customize your own map or show what Server & Application Monitor (SAM) automatedly links together. Use the following instructions to submit your screenshot:

1. Download a free trial of Server & Application Monitor

2. Navigate to maps via the left-hand drawer while on a server node.

3. Create your own map, or let SAM create one between servers and applications.

4. Upload a screenshot for a chance to win!

I am sure it is a little easier to build 2 mini missions for a month than one big one. It also allows for more exposure to more products and product updates.

Not to mention gives people more chances to get one of the great prizes being offered.

We Aug 7 question looks like it has a small typo in the server name - pretty sure it's meant to be EASTEXMBX01V

Typo overloaded my senses and triggered my anxiety. I felt pressured to attempt to answer the question, but i got an incorrect answer.

I assume you mean EASTEXMBX01v but the question asks about EASTEXMX01v. Waiting for verification before I answer.

I took a chance using your assumption and it appears that EASTEXMBX01v is the correct node. You still need to read the question very carefully and look at the map very carefully to get it right.

I took the same assumption and got it right as well. Knowing nothing about exchange and not having any idea how to sort for mailboxes out of the descendants was definitely sweating a bit answering this one but I got there

bobmarley there is a search function on the right side which I find much easier. Go back to https://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/ui/maps/viewer/MAPS-5c9233a0-e2ea-4fe1-b03d-b720d919ac20 and there are two letters that might simplify this one. The search there is live, but you can also filter from there as well. jblankjblank has there been an instruction video on using the new maps search/filter function? I'm guessing folks may benefit. Also kudos on making that search live vs having to hit enter to filter results. Me likey

Correct - how I read the question is how many of this entity type are DISPLAYED on the map. I just used the search to validate. There is not a video at this time. I have gone through this in some detail through the following posts:
