NCM v7.2.1 is Now Available

You can find the installation packages in your customer portal. This service release delivers:

Upgrades the Job Engine to a new version (2.6.0.17).
Patches a memory leak that causes scheduled jobs to fail when the targeted node count is high (5K+).
Tunes jobs logging. The job results can be saved to a file.
Improves error messaging related to the NCM application failing to start or a database create/upgrade operation failing to complete.

NCM 7.2.1 additional pollers still does not work with a FOE install.

case: 538375 ; SolarWinds Failover Engine v6.7 Release Notes

Orion Failover Engine services may not successfully start on an additional polling engine when the Solarwinds NCM Additional Poller Package is installed. The following error is thrown:

SWREFID : 985 for more details Error text Failover Engine license does not cover this install type . on Additional Polling Engine
This was also a known issue in FOE 6.4.1.
As a workaround, either uninstall the NCM Additional Poller package from the additional polling engine or assign a temporary license key on the additional polling engine that is identical to the license key used by the primary polling engine."
