Just upgraded to the latest version, I've now lost all the users in each user collection and cannot create any new accounts. It appears I may have lost connection to the DB.
Anyone run in to this issue before?
Have you tried reentering your DB info? Anything in the logs?
Yes, I've done that. Stopped and restarted SQL services, stopped and restarted Serv-U, rebooted server. No luck. I do have a ticket out to SolarWinds for assistance as well.
They may be your best bet.
Did anything else happen during the upgrade? Some shops like to do lots of things during downtime, like upgrade services, change router configs, move VMs.
If there were other changes, could they have effected serv-u?
Unfortunately I wasn't online during the upgrade, my offshore crew were performing it. I'd spent the previous night monitoring a re-iping event. The FTP servers weren't in that bunch so it couldn't have been that. Anyhow, thanks for reaching out.
