We are about to review IP SLA with the offer of a 30day eval install.
I'm curious how folks, especially those who are non-Carriers/non-ISP Providers, are using it in a typical WAN/LAN environment. This is what we would be doing with it.
We have TCP based applications and video conferencing traffic (UDP) across our MPLS which is our primary circuits. These MPLS circuits are in different State locations/different MPLS carriers and each are different speeds. We would provide a sort of 'internal SLA' for these remote locations.
So, I'm very interested if you have locations where you provide an 'internal SLA' for performance, availability, .etc. What criteria is important in defining this SLA? Latency, packet loss, on-line dashboard, .etc.
