After a clean new installation on a brand new physical running with a Windows Server 2008 Std. 32 Bit we this Error Message:
Application pool 'Orion EOC' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.
Trying to access the webpages results in a HTTP Error 503. The Error message is: HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.
The EOC was running and funktional or about two days. No changes to the config or windows updates where made during this time.
The same happened one day later to NPM, whitch is installed on a other physical maschine.
Both orion application (ECO on one physical maschine, NPM running on a other physical maschien) are not running anymore!!
The Module name ManagedEngine path C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v2.0.50727\webengine.dll returned an error rom registering. The data is the error.
This Error is reported when i try to access the Webpage.
We have the following Error in the Windows Application log. Trying to register the webengine.dll manually did not help.
We have uninstalled the IIS and the .Net-Framwrok, made a restart and installed the services again. I have tryed this procedure three times. It did not help.
Because we have a couple of other MS IIS webservers running in the same domain, configured with the same WSUS, we belive that is not only a windows problem. Maybe it might tied/related to the orion solarwinds installation, because the other webserver running IIS are still functional.
Does anybody has the same problems?
Does anybody know how to fix this problem?
