Clusters are in unknown status

Hi,

My VMAN console as well as my Orion dashboard telling that 3 of my clusters are in unknown status and when I tried to re-enable the integration, these 3 clusters went gone from the Orion Dashboard.

I just wanted to ask, does anyone here knows on where exactly the issue is?

Already resolved this issue by re-adding our service account credentials from the VMcenter

it's weird. Was it working before?

Take a look into VMAN setup tab, if performance/configuration jobs finished correctly. How long it take while performance job finished?

Are there any clusters below vCenter that are polled correctly with up status? Are your credentials for vCenter correct?

I have had to restart my VMan appliance about once a week because of this. After it comes back up Orion syncs up quickly.

I would check your versions as I did the last big batch of upgrades including VIM but random hosts would go unknown. the work around was to disable and enable the integration but would only work for an hour or so. It turned out I hadnt upgraded VMAN to the latest.

i did this but still to no avail.

Was thinking that this is might due to my access privilege. But, of course I have to prove this first from my end

my VMAN and VIM were already upgraded to the new version.. Anyway, this issue was raised even before my upgrade

yes, it was working. and it did stop last month up to now

can you show a picture?

the comment "these 3 clusters went gone from the Orion Dashboard" reads as if they have been deleted?

this was the note in the support ticket that made me realise i had the wrong version "These versions should be matching, so with NPM 12.1 you should have VIM 7.1 and therfore VMan should be 7.1 as well."

Could you check VMAN Setup tab, and take a look on config/performance jobs to be sure that there is not a problem?

How long it take to finish performance job?

If Clusters are Unknown also in VMAN, it's probably not a problem that these clusters are missing in VIM (VMAN just doesn't send data about Unknown clusters to VIM), so problem is somewhere in VMAN - Environment.

I'm thinking about timeouted perf. jobs or some errors in VMAN collections -> it doesn't seems like common 'issue', so you should open case with support.

I assume that credentials are correct.
