Monitoring ipMonitor

Question

Hi,

I have been trying to find a way to add an alert that will shoot out every X hours that will basically say "Monitoring System is working".    This would be a reverse alert - so if this alert is not recieved we know there is a problem.

Is there anyway I can set a monitor to alert when something is up?

Thats peter, that may work for us.

I was really hoping for something that would run on a schedule like an alert, so that this only goes out during non business hours.  Any thoughts on that?

Hello Amanson,Try visiting the following location within ipMonitor v9.x:

Configuration Tab > System Settings > On Process Start

Next, enable "Send an Email", put in the email addresses you want notified, then indicate how many hours between emails. Click "OK" at the bottom of the page to save!
