Hi,
A number of our subnets were entered (as reserved for future use) and do not contain any IP's.
What is the best (easiest) way to write/run a report indicating subnets without any IP's?
Jonathan
I created a custom report (I will attach screen captures) but subnets that report back with zero IP's within the report, actually do contain IP's.
Ok, let's ignore the above post.
I created a custom report. I used the criteria that "IP: Used = 0". The report incorrectly reports back DHCP enabled subnets that contain static IP's as containing IP:Used = 0 while in fact they do contain IP's with a status of Used.
For example. If a subnet is DHCP enabled, has no dynamically assigned IP's, but there are devices on this subnet that are staticly assigned, and those IP's show up as used in a chart view of that subnet, the report will display as 0 used IP's.
Jon,
We checked and were unable to reproduce this internally. I would suggest opening a support ticket. They can help you troubleshoot your report, and if there is an issue then we can start tracking it.
