Port Mapper
gbrance
When I use port mapper on a 4000 our 6500 Cisco Catalyst running CatOS I just put in the SNMP community string and it does every port regardless of VLAN. I do the same thing for a 4500 running IOS and it finds all the ports and then it just hangs. However if I use a community string with a @ and then the vlan it populates for only that vlan fine. Is there a way to get the port mapper to pull all the information of a 4500 regardless of VLAN?
Thanks-GB

I just wanted to chime in that we are having a similar problem. Port Mapper does not find all the IPs and Hostnames.

You gotta give the community string the VLAN ID.
example: community string: public@22
