Restarting Module Engine / Job Scheduler

Hi there,

Thanks for reading.

We have a mid-sized network with about 100 network devices (routers, switches, gateways, fws, ips's) and 600 monitored nodes.  I have a couple of custom pollers which haven't updated in the days following a SWinds upgrade.

I'm seeing that restarting the Module Engine and Job Scheduler services has fixed that "no updates" problem for  a few people.  My question is: will restarting those services cause my monitored nodes to go crazy with "Node status: UP" alerts?

I went for it.  Our configuration allowed for a restart of the services which didn't flood inboxes with alerts.
