invalid email address

When adding a single email address to send Kiwi syslog alerts to, I recieve an error that the email address is an invalid email address. I am using v9.1. Your assistants is greatly appreciated.

Email address validator has been added into 9.1, but it performs poorly and complains on some valid e-mails. This issue will be addressed in next version.

As some kind of workaround an email address can be added directly into registry:

Base path:

32bit OS: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolarWinds\Syslogd

64bit OS: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SolarWinds\Syslogd

Sub-keys:

Properties\MailAlarmsTo

Properties\MailFromAddress

Properties\MailStatsFrom

If email needs to be specified in rule or schedule the following may be used. Assign some email which passes validation, e.g. temp@temp.com where you need your actual address and then go to registry and replace temp@temp.com on actual one using search under base path.
