I would like to pull the ${N=SwisEntity;M=CustomProperties.Department} in ResponsibleTeam which is in the Alert section.
Please someone help me out. The response comes back with varible instead of the value.

What type of Alert have you created ?
Its the alert when the node goes down.
So instead of Typing manually for each alert I just want the alert to pull the Department name for the concerned node.
