New User help and advise

Recently Installed Engineers edition and have had it running for a couple of weeks.
I am seeing non stop 52% utilisation of the Cisco switches. Is this a normal rate or should they be lower, these switches are about 5 years old.
One other observation is that recieve discards seem to be high on our bladecenter switch port. To day this is at 40000 is this to high, these results seem fairly consistant.

Hey Terry, welcome to the World of Solarwinds!

You must be referring to the Cisco 3548XL switches?
That is normal CPU for those "switches" (I use the term loosely when referring to those).

Do a search in this Forum for "Discards" using the search button on the top right of this page.
