Showing Sums in NetPerfMon graphs

Hi all! My boss would like to see a graph showing the sum of traffic (ifInOctets+ifOutOctets) for a particular interface. All I can do so far is show a graph with the Transmit and Receive data, but not the sum. Is there a way to show the sum?

The Network Performance Monitor
in Engineer's Edition Version 8 includes two new charts :

Transmit+Receive bps
Transmit+Receive Percent Utilization

Engineer's Edition Version 8 is scheduled for release Feb 1, 2005
Orion Version 7.6 also includes these new charts and should release around the same time.

Don, I downloaded and installed version 8 last night, and got it all set up. Looking at the new graphs this morning, it appears that the transmit+receive percent utilization chart shows approximately half of the other percent util. chart. The other percent util. charts show the correct numbers. It almost seems like the calculation is taking the bandwidth into account twice, once for the transmit and once for the receive, when it should take the bandwidth into account once for both transmit and receive. Does that make sense?

Anyway, is there any way I can change it so it calculates the correct percent util?
