TOTAL Latency Report - DATA IS NOT AVAILABLE

HI,

I'm trying to create a chart report that will show the total latency of All Volumes with the specific aggregate of one of my storage arrays in Storage Orion web Console. However, there was no data display from the report created albeit, there are data available for all volumes of the specific aggregate upon checking the dashboard.

Also tried to create a chart report using SRM Profiler but there was no TOTAL Latency available

Does anyone know how to get the required report? Thank you

Hi,

I have prepared for you a small tutorial, so try to follow these steps:

You can copy paste this query:

SELECT VolumeID, DisplayName, Volumes.Statistics.ObservationTimeStamp, Volumes.Statistics.IOLatencyTotal

FROM Orion.SRM.Volumes

WHERE Volumes.Pools.PoolID = 2 AND Volumes.Statistics.ObservationTimeStamp > AddDay(-7, GetUtcDate())

Hi,

if you are sure you have data for Total Latency, you'd might want to maybe play more with the Data Source of the report. So you'd might want to navigate to reports, edit the one you have created for that, edit the Data Source and try following:

It should take the particular aggregate and display results only for that.

You can then double check in "Edit Chart" whether you have selected the correct field for the chart (after changing Data Source, it might be corrected then)

Thanks for your recommendation. Actually what I did before was I still used the Dynamic Query and Advance Selector, Then, I filtered the specific pool and storage but no data display.

Follow up question, is there a way to display the VolumeName as well and not only the Storage Array Name?

Hi, this is kind of hard to help you since I do not see your report configuration. Maybe you can help me a bit and export the report configuration into the xml file and attach it here or send it to me via a message so I'll see how you have it configured and then I can help you more.
