Netcool cannot parse SNMP traps coming from SRM Orion. SRM Orion is able to trigger an alert action as SNMP trap, but the target Netcool is not able to parse it due to lack of the trap message description in MIB file.
This is not specific to Netcool. Wherever there is a requirement to forwarding SNMP traps to a remote trap destination it will not work until we have MIBs with OIDs specific to SRM.
