I have just started to use the World Map for our company.
I like how easy it is to zoom around and how fast it loads.
What I do not like is how limited it is in what you can see/do.
It seems we are pulling from MapQuest and I know that other software that integrates with MapQuest has the ability to add custom layers and pre-defined layers such as a current weather map.
The custom layer could be something you draw up zones for or other important non node related geographic items.
There have been some very hackish ways to go about using Google Maps for some of these features, however it would benefit all should we find a way to add them with the current stock implementation of World Map.
