Support Loadbalancer from 3rd Party Vendors (e.g. KEMP Loadmaster) in ARM for connecting to Exchange

At the moment, you can only connect to one of each node on the exchange server but customers would like to connect to the Loadbalancer instead of directly to the exchange nodes. According to support, this is not supported and it would be nice if you could support 3rd Party Loadbalancers for connecting to the Exchange.

Loadbalancers work, I know this because I configured a Kemp Loadbalancer years ago with a customer. You just need to configure it in ARM like the Exchange Server. Nothing special to be done on the ARM site since the loadblancers work is to be transparent for all other systems and not be destinguishable from the real Exchange.

The main reason why this is not working is the configuration of the loadbalancer because it does not forward correctly to the Exchange servers. Usually this is the authentication.

I don't remember excatly what the problem was back then, but when I googled the error message I found a blog which exactly explained what to configure in the loadbalancer. Afterwards it worked like normal.
