I would like a resource where I can insert text such as a ticket number. This allows our NOC analysts the ability to know exactly which ticket is associated with the alert. This saves a lot of time when managing many alerts.
The Alert Details has an Alert Note field, at least in my view. I have used it to enter ticket numbers. But you have to click the alert. I don't know how to get it to show on the Active Alerts page.
One catch, what you put in there will still be there the next time the same alert fires on the same node/interface/etc. So it keeps the old data and isn't time stamped.
