Create Group also creates a custom field in predefined custom field.

I've just created 150 groups of devices and I cannot find a way to use the group as a custom field name. I'd love to be able to use the Group Name as a custom field. I've created a custom field called "GroupName" and i'm populating it with 150 locations all around the UK and server functions.

I am hoping I can then use this custom field in the active alerts page to provide custom information about the Devices.
