do I need to configure a FS logga report so that the alarming will work?

For alerting you need make sure you have logga enabled for AD or File servers and then enable it in alerts.

I know, but do I have to configure a FS logga report to make the alarming work?

the documentation only mentions that the logga has to be enabled so i would assume that specifying reports is not necessary but i can not guarantee. why do you not just try it out?

FS Logga does not need a configured report for alerts. Just turn it on and set the alert sensor to active.

Then you can configure an alert.

I tried and it seems that their has to be a report configured to get the alarming work.
But I would like the Solarwiinds could confirm that.
