Provide the ability to return any information as available variables in Email Templates and/or the ability to create custom SQL variables (like in Orion).

The current email templates provide numerous variables about the alert, database, links to alert details, and also custom properties. Go to Alerts->Manage Alerts->email templates to create and configure email templates using multiple variables. The custom properties capability was introduced a couple of releases ago but only configurable through REST APIs. In the DPA 2021.3 Release made generally available 8/30/2021, DPA added full UI support to both define custom properties and assign value or values to a custom property for each Database Instance.
The below screen capture is a small subset of the database instance and alert variables available to add to email templates and shows variables for any custom property you may create as well.
