Not every company uses VMware..
Love to be able to monitor XenServer v5 and v6
That would be great. Some of our customers rely on Citrix XENServer and would be thrilled if SolarWinds support there XEN environemt.
Yup - would second that. We're a big Xen house here but also use VMware. A lot of shops appear to be using a 2 vendor strategy when it comes to virtualisation.
Just wanted to "bump" this... Love to see some support for XEN
We are another big Xenserver shop
We're a non-profit and use Xen with limited budget for anything else. NPM having Xen monitoring support would be the best of both worlds for us.
We are a two hypervisor shop (as are most hospitals). We use VMwareand XenServer. XenServer is used as we have XenApp servers hosting thousands of concurrent applications sessions. XenServer gives us one throat to choke for the Citrix solution. You are going to find a lot of people use something and Xen when they have a Citrix deployment.
Bumping this. Support for XenServer would be a huge value add for us. We are adding roughly 20-30 XenServers yearly right now and it is getting frustrating that we can't get the same insight into these hypervisors as Hyper-V and VmWare.
Bump. Our environment is XenServer, and us Citrix people need some love'in too.
80% response over a 2yr survey period.
"Are we there yet?"
I complete agree.
If for SAP we can use SAP Orion addons working perfectly,
for Citrix XEN Server there is no real option.
We have mostly XENServer and we expect to be able to manage it in the Virtualization console like we manage VMware and Hyper-V.
from my expectation API from XenServer are pretty available to implement it in a fast way.
anything on XenServer support?
Bump!!!!!!! to the 10th degree.
Very important update
Bump
serena we are vmware/citrix, so this would be nice. The folks on our call the other day would certainly be happy to know if this was an option
anyone has clue if we monitor it via iLO then what will be missed in terms of monitoring of the RedHat hypervisor
bump bump
Would love to see support for XenServer... at least version 5 and up!
6 years and no xenserver support, very poor performance solarwinds.
Our xenserver environment is growing every month and soon we will have more xenservers than vmware.
So i think this feature will be a killer very soon.

Are you primarily using only xenserver and vmware or are you considering other solutions like nutanix?
bboening I complete agree.
Any movement on this since March?

Hey Robert,
When we actively start working on items, we will mark them as "What we're working on" so there hasn't been changes in that state for the VMAN product line yet.
However, I do have to ask, do you have Server & Application Monitor along with VMAN? We do have some out of the box templates for XenServer to tide you over in the meantime Citrix templates If you're utilizing these templates, I'd love to know what your feedback is and how we can improve them.
