we need a "over-all" option to prevent a "Alert Storm". This would look like:
Global alert option in Orion Platform:
count of alert's = 20
time this Alert's happen = 2min
alert-text that will be sent to = "Super-Alert"
where to send this Alert = "pager / mailaddresse / cellular....."

- count of Alert's that must be trigger't until no the "Super-Alert" stop's alle alert's that have been "marked" to be integrated in a Super-Alert-Count (in the regular alert menu)
- time, this is the time that count of alert's happen, so if vor example more the 20 alert's get triggert in less the 2minuts, then stop alerting to the regular receiver and send one singel message to a defined location
- alert-text her you can put a spezial text that will be sent, like: super-alert more the 20 host's down
somehow this idea looks simulare.... maybe not the same...
