Currently WPM does not support java based applications which pop out of the browser. For example oracle form pops out as a separate java app which WPM recorder is failing to capture.
Agree! And most of the websites now are using java based applications
Is this still the case? I will be sad if so....banner's login pages... lot of java.. just tested a few pages in the recorder and my screens blank
HUGE use case for my organization for java applet support. HUGE
I'm still waiting for this myself. This is a user experience module. It only seems logical to support this to actually monitor a user experience.
I'm both elated and very annoyed that I had just discovered that you can pass a URL encoded parameter to my specific app to force the applet to stay in browser, making the session available for monitoring via WPM.
It appears to be a common Java applet parameter (not a Java developer) so other watchers of this feature request may find it useful.
I appended the applet URL with "&separateFrame=false".
@Joe.Tran, this appears to be a common problem on WPM monitoring. a more elaborate direction is appreciated.
I am still waiting............
A must and value added feature, measuring performance of these non browser applications is becoming important now.
Hi SW Dev Team, we are required feature as well. Any help would be a great.
