Curious to what you're trying to achieve, and if it's possible using the REST functions?

I came here for the same reason. What I'm looking to do is advanced alerting based on NetPath probing. There are times when NetPath shows increasing latency and even that sites are not reachable from multiple locations. I would like to create an alert with a trigger action to play the associated WPM transaction while the NetPath probe alert is active. That way we can get an idea of the user experience and even screenshot of any errors the user may have gotten during this time. Is there another way to do this?
