Essentially custom OS versions of Solaris 11 with ZFS file system pools.
Sun ZFS Storage 7420 | ZFS Storage Appliance | Oracle
We use a lot of these on iSCSI and really need to have a unified view of the LUNs and CIFS.
I know this is an old request, but I was just able to add a ZS3-2 head from one of our SuperCluster M7's into SolarWinds via SNMPv3. I can see all of the NFS shares in there as the /export/sharename paths. This is all with NPM/SAM. I don't think NPM/SAM will monitor iSCSI LUNs, and as you are requesting, Storage Manager does seem like the right tool to do so. Unfortunately, I do not have that product to test with. Hopefully the SNMP monitoring helps.
Are there any plans to support monitoring of Oracle ZFS by the SRM?
