Are there any plans to incorporate the Event Calendar view from the desktop application into the Portal web application?
I have recently switched to using the SQL Sentry Portal web application for most of my database monitoring. Prior to this, I used the desktop application. The one area I find myself switching back to the desktop client for is the Event Calendar view, primarily for Top SQL. I find that the Event Calendar view's ability to zoom in quickly to a moment and see other database activity, as well as graphical representations for how long a query took or if it failed, valuable tools for quickly determining cause and effect when there are poor conditions on a database.
In the web application, the existing ability from Top SQL to click and drag over a period of time, then use the "Filter" menu option to "zoom in" on the relevant queries meets a similar need. But, the visual representation from the Event Calendar view of the desktop application is superior for parsing at a glance how multiple queries may be negatively interacting.
