Search for Node

It would be great if looking up a specific node were as simple as a field on each summary page. We don't always come into Solarwinds following a link - the question may come up outside of an alert.

This seems like a small thing that would make a big difference ("low hanging fruit" / "easy win").

You know there's a "Node Search" and "Interface Search" resource you can add to summary pages, right? It even lets you search by other data points (machine type, vendor, custom properties, etc).

If the node is on the page and you can't find it, there's always Ctrl-F

And if you go to the Manage Nodes page (which I know isn't available to everyone) you can search by node, IP, etc.

Thx for the input, Leon. I think it was that addon Node Search that suggested to me that NPM ought to have this more properly integrated than just a user-created addon.

I am interested in that preview, Blue. I'll see what I can do to safely add that to my existing installation!
