It would be helpful if DPA could show in the Trends chart if monitoring was stopped for some time, maybe similar like the VM Events in the Resources charts, showing monitoring down and monitoring up events.
That would make it easier to identify why you may see less wait time suddenly. At the moment I usually drill down and then can see that it shows no queries were running at a specific time. Also when looking at the trends together with the resources you can see if resource data is missing, but again you have to drill down further for this.
